You’ll cross deep gorges, climb to the legendary Thorong La Pass, and visit the serene Tilicho Lake, all while experiencing the rich traditions of Hindu and Buddhist communities.

Top Highlights:

1. Tilicho Lake (4,919m): A Hidden Himalayan Jewel

Nestled among towering peaks, Tilicho Lake is one of the world’s highest glacial lakes. A 2–3-day detour from the main circuit rewards trekkers with stunning reflections of Tilicho Peak and Gangapurna in its crystal-clear waters.

2. Thorong La Pass (5,416m): A High-Altitude Triumph

The highest point of the trek, Thorong La Pass, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. This challenging ascent is the ultimate test of endurance, but the sense of accomplishment at the top is unmatched.

3. Cultural Diversity: A Blend of Hindu & Buddhist Traditions

Trek through Hindu-influenced villages in the lower valleys (e.g., Chame, Manang) before entering the Tibetan Buddhist settlements of Muktinath and Jomsom. Along the way, encounter monasteries, prayer flags, and ancient chortens that tell stories of Nepal’s spiritual heritage.

4. Dramatic Landscape Changes

From lush green forests and terraced farmlands to the barren, wind-swept landscapes of Manang and Mustang, the Annapurna Circuit showcases Nepal’s stunning geographical diversity.

5. Natural Hot Springs at Tatopani

After days of trekking, unwind in the soothing natural hot springs of Tatopani, known for their healing properties.

6. Optional Poon Hill Extension

If finishing via Ghorepani, add an early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m) for a spectacular sunrise over Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre

Challenges & Considerations:

1. Altitude Sickness:

Acclimatization days are essential, especially in Manang before Thorong La.

Stay hydrated, ascend gradually, and consider Diamox if needed.

2. Unpredictable Weather:

Snowfall and high winds can make Thorong La dangerous.

Best to trek in peak seasons (March–May, September–November).

3. Basic Facilities in Remote Areas

Higher altitude teahouses have limited food, heating, and medical facilities.

Pack extra layers and a warm sleeping bag.

4. Road Development Impact

Jeep roads now reach Manang and Muktinath, affecting the traditional trekking experience.

Trekkers can skip motorable sections by hiking alternative trails.

Train Well: Prepare for 5–7 hours of trekking per day with steep ascents/descents.

Early in the morning, we drive from Kathmandu for about 6-7 hours (190 km) to Besisahar. Along the way, you’ll pass through beautiful villages, terraced farms, fast-flowing rivers, and catch glimpses of the Himalayan ranges. Since we will be traveling by local bus, unexpected traffic or road conditions may cause delays, and we might not arrive in Besisahar in time to catch a local bus to Jagat—our destination for the day.

After breakfast, we begin the second day of our journey. Leaving Jagat, we cross a suspension bridge and follow the trail toward Tal Village, where you’ll witness stunning waterfalls cascading into a river beside sandy beaches.

From Tal, we continue trekking through fields of barley, rice, and potatoes, eventually reaching Kodo, one of the largest villages in the Manang Valley. The trail then leads us across another suspension bridge, followed by a steady climb toward the stone Kani (gateway) before finally arriving at Dharapani, where we will spend the night.

Today's trek takes us through enchanting forests filled with pine, fir, oak, and maple trees, gradually guiding us toward Chame, the district headquarters of Manang. Along the way, you'll be immersed in lush greenery, with breathtaking views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and the majestic Annapurna IV (7,525m) towering above. We'll also pause at some natural hot springs—perfect for a short break. If you're up for it, you can even enjoy a soothing dip in the warm waters to relax your muscles before continuing the journey.

We trek through a steep and narrow valley, gradually making our way toward the striking Paungda Danda Rock Face — a dramatic, curved cliff that towers 1,500 meters above the Marshyangdi River. From this vantage point, you’re treated to breathtaking views of Annapurna II to the south and Pisang Peak to the northeast. After soaking in the scenery, we descend to the floor of the Manang Valley and continue onward to Pisang, our destination for the da

Today's trek will be long and challenging, but incredibly rewarding. We begin by descending to Kyumi Khola, then cross a suspension bridge before starting a steep ascent to the picturesque village of Ghyaru—a climb that takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes. From Ghyaru onwards, the trail becomes gentler, and we are treated to breathtaking views of towering peaks including Annapurna II (7,937m), Annapurna III (7,555m), Annapurna IV (7,525m), Gangapurna (7,455m), Tilicho Peak (7,134m), and Pisang Peak (6,091m). After about 6 hours and 30 minutes of trekking through stunning high-altitude landscapes, we finally arrive at the beautiful village of Manang, nestled at 3,540 meters.

Today is our rest and acclimatization day in Manang. In the early morning, we’ll take a short walk to the serene Gangapurna Lake, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After that, we’ll explore the charming village of Manang, soaking in the local culture and enjoying stunning views of Annapurna III and Gangapurna Peak.

The trek from Manang to Siri Kharka is an easier one. We take the upper route that leads down to a river, which we will cross, and then continue on a path that takes us through the coniferous forests. After walking for about three hours, we reach Tibetan settlement Khangsar, but we will continue our journey forward to reach Shiri Kharka. On the trails, we will get to see gorgeous views of Gungang Himal and Mt.Chulu.

We leave Siri Kharka in the morning and begin our trek toward Tilicho Base Camp. The trail is mostly moderate and enjoyable, with only a few short uphill and downhill sections. Although the path is generally easy, it passes through landslide-prone areas, so we’ll walk carefully. Along the way, we’re treated to unique and dramatic landscapes, featuring impressive rock formations and breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks—including the majestic Tilicho Peak. The scenery here is strikingly different, adding a sense of adventure and wonder to the journey.

This is one of the most special days of the trek, as we finally get to witness the breathtaking Tilicho Lake. We begin our day early from Tilicho Base Camp to avoid the strong afternoon winds. The trail is steep and demanding, but after a challenging ascent of about 2 to 3 hours, we are rewarded with the spectacular sight of Tilicho Lake — one of the highest lakes in the world. A renowned French expedition team famously referred to it as "The Great Ice Lake."

Nestled amidst the towering peaks of the Tilicho Himal, Annapurna Range, and Nilgiri Himal, the lake’s turquoise waters create a truly mesmerizing scene. After soaking in the awe-inspiring beauty and capturing unforgettable memories, we retrace our steps back to Siri Kharka, where we’ll spend the night.

Today will be a short and gentle hike, giving your body the rest and recovery it deserves after yesterday's long and challenging journey.

We begin by descending from Siri Kharka to the deserted village of Khangsar. Along the way, we pass by Tare Gumba, a serene monastery believed to be over a thousand years old. Our trail then follows a rugged rock wall, guiding us out of Khangsar and into the beautiful Thorong Khola Valley. Eventually, we reach our destination for the day—Yak Kharka.

From Yak Kharka, you’ll be treated to glorious views of the majestic Annapurna mountain range. With a bit of luck, you might even spot blue sheep grazing on the slopes—or catch a rare glimpse of a snow leopard in the wild.

As you continue onward, you’ll cross a historic Mani wall just before reaching Ledar. From there, the trail leads you across a river and along a landslide-prone section of the path. After a brief rest at a small teashop, you’ll push on to reach Thorong La Phedi, your base for the big ascent ahead.

Today marks the most challenging and rewarding part of your journey, as we cross the legendary Thorong La Pass—one of the highest mountain passes in the world and the highest point of this entire trek. To avoid the fierce afternoon winds, we rise early at 3:30 AM in Thorong Phedi and begin our ascent, braving the thin air and icy winds of the high Himalayas.

After a sacred visit to the Muktinath Temple, we begin a new leg of our journey—this time by local bus as we make our way to Tatopani. The drive is adventurous and bumpy, winding through dramatic landscapes carved by the world’s deepest gorges.

Along the way, we pass through the lively Jomsom Bazaar, a bustling town that serves as the administrative and commercial hub of the region. Eventually, we reach Tatopani, famous for its soothing natural hot springs. After a long day on the road, there's no better way to relax than by soaking in the warm mineral waters—an experience that feels like pure bliss before nightfall

Today, we begin our ascent to Ghorepani, passing through the charming ethnic villages of Sikha and Chitre. The trail winds through lush forests filled with rhododendron, birch, and magnolia trees, offering a refreshing and scenic journey.

During the blooming season, the entire forest bursts into color, with vibrant shades of pink and red rhododendrons painting the landscape in a breathtaking display. Eventually, we reach Ghorepani, perched on a ridge with sweeping mountain views and a peaceful alpine atmosphere.

Poon Hill is renowned as one of the most iconic viewpoints in the world—a must-visit for anyone trekking in the Annapurna region. Early in the morning, we leave Ghorepani and hike up a steep trail for about an hour, reaching the summit just in time to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

As the first light of dawn touches the snow-capped peaks, the sky comes alive with golden hues, revealing panoramic views that also include Mustang, Pokhara, and more than 20 towering Himalayan mountains.

This magical viewpoint is a favorite spot for photographers, and we’ll be sure to capture some unforgettable shots before heading back down. After soaking in the scenery, we begin our descent toward Birethanti, where a vehicle will be waiting to take us back to Pokhara via Nayapul, marking the end of our incredible mountain journey.

After breakfast, we board a comfortable tourist bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu, enjoying one last glimpse of the Himalayan foothills as we journey back to the capital. For those looking for a quicker option, you can choose a 25-minute scenic flight back to Kathmandu (not included in the package and available at an additional cost).

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our trekking adventure officially comes to a close. To celebrate your incredible journey, Humble Mi will host a special farewell dinner later in the evening.

We hope this trek has gifted you with unforgettable experiences, breathtaking views, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Today marks the end of your unforgettable journey in the Himalayas. After breakfast, we will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight home, depending on your departure schedule.

We hope you leave Nepal with a heart full of memories, new friendships, and a deeper connection to the mountains. Thank you for trekking with us—we look forward to welcoming you back for another adventure in the future!
