Manaslu Circuit Trek
Manaslu Circuit Trek is one of the best trekking routes in Nepal. It circles the Manaslu Conservation Area and offers stunning views of Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m), the eighth-highest mountain in the world.
The trek usually takes 13 days, starting from Macha Khola and ending at Besisahar, with an option to extend to 18 days by visiting Tsum Valley.
Compared to the popular Everest and Annapurna treks, Manaslu is less crowded, more remote, and physically challenging. The route passes through lush villages, rice terraces, deep gorges of the Budi Gandaki River, waterfalls, and long suspension bridges.
The highlight is crossing Larkya La Pass (5,167 m), which offers breathtaking Himalayan views of surrounding peaks like Cheo Himal, Himlung Himal, Nemjung, Gyaji Kang, Kang Guru, and Annapurna II.
